Best Pack Ripping Odds Guarantee – Terms

These terms (the "Guarantee Terms") govern the GrailCart Best Pack Ripping Odds Guarantee (the "Guarantee") offered by GrailCart, LLC. They form part of our Terms of Service; capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given there. If you find another site that offers better overall value on pack openings than GrailCart, measured as set out below, we pay you the difference on your GrailCart pack spend.
1. GrailCart's benchmark
Every claim is measured on $1,000 of pack spend over 4 years. On that spend, GrailCart's benchmark is:
(a) Expected value: 90% of the pack price comes back as cards on average: $900.
(b) Buyback: any card can be sold back instantly at 100% of its fair market value, so the full $900 can be turned back into balance.
(c) Rewards: 2.5% of your pack spend paid back each year through rewards: $25 a year, $100 over 4 years.
Benchmark total: $1,000 of value for every $1,000 spent on packs.
2. What another site has to beat
We work out the other site's value on the same $1,000 over 4 years: its published expected value, multiplied by the share of card value it buys back instantly (its buyback rate), plus the cash value of the rewards, rakeback or cashback it pays on that spend over 4 years. The Guarantee applies only if that total is higher than $1,000. A site with a higher expected value but a lower buyback rate can still come out below the benchmark.
Example: a site with 95% expected value and an 85% buyback gives $1,000 × 95% × 85% = $807.50, plus 1% rakeback a year ($40 over 4 years) = $847.50. That's below $1,000, so the Guarantee doesn't apply.
3. Proof
You must provide the proof. Send us links to, and screenshots of, the other site's published odds or expected value, its buyback rate and its rewards terms, all current on the day you claim. The figures must be publicly available on that site (not a private deal, a code just for you, a limited-time promotion or a deposit bonus), and they must be for comparable products: packs of real trading cards that can be shipped or sold back. Figures we can't verify, or that come from a site that doesn't actually honour them, don't count.
4. What we pay
If the other site's total beats $1,000, we pay you the difference per $1,000, applied to the pack spend on your GrailCart account (real-money pack openings only; bonus-funded play doesn't count). Example: if the other site comes out at $1,020, the difference is $20 per $1,000; with $2,500 of GrailCart pack spend you'd get $50. The payment is credited as GrailCart balance once we've verified your claim.
5. Claims
To claim, email support@grailcart.com from the address on your GrailCart account with your proof. We review every claim and aim to reply within 14 days; our calculation under these terms is final. One payment per account for any one competing offer. Accounts closed for fraud or abuse, or linked to another account, can't claim.
6. Changes
We may change or end the Guarantee at any time by updating this page. A claim already sent to us, with its proof, is assessed under the terms in force on the day we received it.
